Preeti Lathia is the driving force behind Melbourne Immigration Services, bringing over two decades of hands-on experience in immigration consulting, business development, relationship management, and client advocacy. Her deep understanding of global immigration systems — combined with a genuine passion for helping people build new lives abroad — has made her one of the most respected immigration consultants in the industry.
Preeti founded the immigration services practice in 2004 and led it for nearly 20 years as Founder & Consultant, specialising in permanent resident visas for Australia, Canada, and New Zealand, along with tourist and student visas. She has been instrumental in setting up streamlined processes for case evaluation, documentation, and lodgement — ensuring consistently high approval rates for her clients.
Her expertise spans the full spectrum of immigration pathways: skilled independent migration, employer-sponsored visas, investor and business categories, family reunification, and student routes. Preeti's ability to assess complex profiles, identify the strongest visa pathway, and build compelling applications has been the cornerstone of MIS's success.
Prior to her career in immigration, Preeti honed her communication and people management skills at HSBC, where she served as a Customer Support Representative. This foundation in client relations and service excellence continues to define her approach — every client interaction is characterised by clarity, empathy, and a relentless focus on outcomes.
